Stability

Structure · Containment · First Connection

What & Why

The Stability pathway supports pupils who are beginning to tolerate structure and routine but still require strong external containment. The workstation “holds the pupil” when they cannot yet hold themselves.

Our Approach

Each classroom also includes shared tables or low-group spaces, reflecting the school’s belief that while structure supports regulation, connection supports progress. Stability is not the final destination — it is a vital, honoured step on the journey.

Timetable Focus

  • Structured academic learning within clear routines
  • Regular regulation breaks built into the day
  • Supported interaction with peers
  • Beginning to experience learning alongside others

The Environment

🗂️ – Structured workstations
🔒 – Clear, calm boundaries
👥 – Reduced peer pressure
